Fox News’ Lara Trump Interviews Todd, Julie Chrisley After Prison: Details

The Chrisley family is stepping back into the spotlight with their first TV interview since Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley’s respective prison releases.
The couple, along with their children Savannah Chrisley and Grayson Chrisley, will sit down with Fox News Channel’s Lara Trump for a Saturday, June 28, broadcast, Us Weekly can exclusively confirm.
“The family will discuss the official presidential pardons, their plans moving forward and other news of the day,” according to a press release.
The Chrisley family’s interview will air as part of the network’s My View With Lara Trump series during the 9 p.m. ET time slot.
Todd Chrisley Breaks Silence After Prison Release, Maintains His Innocence
The scheduled broadcast is the first time Todd, 56, and Julie, 52, will speak on TV about their respective pardons from President Donald Trump in May — two years after they first reported to prison.
The Chrisley Knows Best stars were indicted on tax evasion, bank and wire fraud and conspiracy charges in 2019. Despite maintaining their innocence, both Todd and Julie were found guilty in June 2022.

Todd was sentenced to 12 years in prison and Julie was sentenced to seven years, and they began serving their terms at separate facilities in January 2023. In addition to their prison time, the couple were ordered to pay $17.8 million in restitution.
Todd and Julie’s sentences were reduced in September 2023 by nearly two years after they appealed the ruling. Last month, their daughter Savannah received a call on May 27 from the president, 79, who revealed that he planned to give Todd and Julie full pardons.
Trump granted both reality stars clemency on May 28, and they were released from custody hours later. Todd and Julie have since returned home to Nashville to be with their family.

In addition to daughter Savannah, 27, and son Grayson, 19, the couple share son Chase Chrisley and granddaughter Chloe, whom they have adopted. Todd is also the father of daughter Lindsie Chrisley and son Kyle Chrisley, Chloe’s father, from his first marriage to Teresa Terry.
On May 30, Todd held his first press conference since being a free man, while Julie stayed home with Chloe, 12.
During the news event, Todd once again denied his guilt, telling reporters, “Even though this pardon has happened, I still was convicted of something that I did not do. It could be you. It could be any of you.”

Savannah, who joined her father for the press conference, also revealed that their family’s life after Todd and Julie’s prison stays would be captured by reality TV cameras for a new show.
“We’re excited, because I think this new show is going to give people a look into the trial and things that we went through, and we’re going to set the record straight,” Savannah explained of the upcoming Lifetime series, which began filming the night Todd and Julie got home. “It comes full circle because we go back, and then we get to the point where Mom and Dad are pardoned and now, we move forward with our lives.”
