Kristin Davis Reveals Whether She Once Dated ‘SATC’ Costar Chris Noth

Kristin Davis is finally addressing the long-held speculation that she used to date Sex and the City costar Chris Noth.
Davis, 60, recently had rap star SZA on her “Are You a Charlotte?” podcast, where they discussed Noth’s turn on SATC.
“Charlotte was pro-Big, so I was pro-Big,” Davis said, referring to his turbulent romance with Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie Bradshaw.
Davis’ podcast clip was subsequently shared via Instagram with a social media user asking in the comments whether the actress and Noth, 70, ever dated offscreen.

“No, I didn’t!!!” Davis enthusiastically replied in the comments section.
Sex and the City aired on HBO from 1998 to 2004, following Carrie and her three best friends’ single lives in New York City. Throughout much of the show, Carrie was involved in an on-off relationship with business tycoon Mr. Big. They ultimately wed in the first feature-length movie, staying together up through the first episode of Max’s And Just Like That revival.
When AJLT premiered in 2021, it was revealed that Noth’s character suffered a heart attack after a grueling Peloton workout and died.
“[I asked,] ‘You wanna come in and die?’ And then he was like, ‘Of course, no, who wants to?’” showrunner Michael Patrick King told Us Weekly and other reporters about pitching Big’s death. “We started talking about the character and what it would mean. Then Chris and I worked a lot, and it was a thrill because he has great instincts, great story instincts.”
King added, “Together, what we came up with is exactly how he left and why he left and how he would leave and what their last moments would be.”

After Big’s death, his widow, Carrie, spent the remainder of the first season trying to grieve and move forward. By both season 2 and the currently airing season 3, Carrie found a new romance with her old SATC love interest Aidan Shaw (John Corbett). They have, however, paused their romance — despite buying a gorgeous Gramercy Park brownstone — while he remains in Virginia with his teenage sons.
“I gotta stay f***ing laser focused on the situation at home. But you can text me — little stuff, big stuff,” Aidan told Carrie in the Thursday, June 5, episode. “Call me, if it’s important.”
Davis’ Charlotte, meanwhile, is still happily married to husband Harry Goldenblatt (Evan Handler) and raising their two children on the Upper East Side.
And Just Like That airs new episodes Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on Max.
