‘Real Housewives’ Executive Lauren Miller Died ‘Suddenly’ in Childbirth

Lauren Miller, an executive for Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New York City and The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, died during childbirth.
“It is with devastated hearts that we share that our beloved colleague, Lauren, died unexpectedly just moments after giving birth to her baby boy,” a statement on Shed Media’s Instagram read on Thursday, June 12. “Lauren leaves behind her husband, Kevin, 3-year-old daughter Emma and newborn son Jackson.”
Shed Media, where Lauren worked, also shared a link to a GoFundMe campaign set up to support Kevin, Emma and Jackson.
“Please consider donating to help Kevin take on this unexpected role as sole provider of the family,” Shed’s statement added. “Of all the things Lauren loved most, being a mother was at the top and ensuring that her children are being taken care of would mean everything to her.”

Lauren died earlier this week.
“We are heartbroken by the tragic passing of our dear friend and coworker, Lauren. She died on June 9th, suddenly, just moments after giving birth to her son,” a GoFundMe description reads. “This unimaginable loss is impossible to comprehend, and the hole that Lauren has left in this world and in her own family is an impossible one to ever fill. We are devastated for her beloved husband, Kevin, who must now unexpectedly take on the sole role of parenting their two children.”
According to the campaign, Jackson was taken to the NICU after birth but was discharged by Thursday.
“The day Lauren was so eagerly awaiting should end in tragedy is truly unfathomable,” the fundraising message added. “Anyone who knew Lauren was affected by her warm smile, kind heart and thoughtful, intuitive nature. She was the kind of person who could comfort you with just a few words, because she always spoke from the heart.”

The description continued, “She was sincere, intentional and compassionate, but among her greatest qualities was the love she had for her family. It was no secret how close she was to her entire family or how excited she was when she got to start her own.”
Kevin broke his silence on Lauren’s passing in the comments of Shed’s upload.
“Lauren is the love of my life and I was blessed by God that she chose to spend her life with me and give me two beautiful children to remember her every minute of every day,” he wrote via Instagram comment on Friday, June 13. “Please pray for our family and thank you all for the prayers, kind words and thoughts. God bless.”
Several Real Housewives stars, including Tamra Judge, Heather Gay and Sai de Silva, also offered their condolences.
“Prayers for her family & friends. This is absolutely heartbreaking,” Judge, 57, wrote, adding a broken-heart emoji.
