‘Next Gen NYC’ Recap: Seth Marks Asks Brooks About Sex Life, ‘Body Count’
Seth Marks’ cringe-worthy cameo on Next Gen NYC — including a chat with son Brooks Marks about his sex life — left Us speechless.
“How’s your sex life?” Seth, 53, asked Brooks, 25, during the Tuesday, June 17, episode of the Bravo series after Brooks revealed he had a new boyfriend named Kade. (Brooks and Kade met at Sundance Film Festival and are long-distance since Kade splits his time between Austin, Texas, and Los Angeles.)
Brooks quipped, “That’s not something that I need to talk to my dad about,” but Seth didn’t back down. “I want a deeper, emotional connection,” Seth told his son after Brooks admitted he does talk to his mom, Meredith Marks, about his sex life.
Seth explained, “Seriously, I want to be a mother. That’s like the next level for a father, to where you think of me in a way like you think of your mom.”

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City husband then proved that no topic was off-limits during his father-son day at the driving range, asking Brooks, “What’s the body count for your boyfriend?”
Brooks was briefly distracted by his ball going haywire, which prompted Seth to ask again, “Did you hear the body count question? You don’t want to go there?”
Brooks replied, “What about my body count?” Seth further questioned, “Do you guys talk about that?” revealing, “I just learned this [term].”
Brooks didn’t give his dad a number — nor did he talk about his or his boyfriend’s past sexual partners. Seth, however, tried to explain he was just making sure his son is being smart.

“I just want to make sure you know that before you give him your heart completely, that it’s mutual,” Seth said. “I don’t want to see my kids get their hearts crushed.”
To change the subject, Brooks told his dad about his friend Charlie Zakkour going on a date with his sister, Chloe Marks. Brooks revealed that after Charlie, 29, left the date, he sent a text to him about meeting them out, writing, “If I’m not already back at my place with your sister,” which did not sit well with Brooks.

Seth wasn’t a fan of Charlie’s remarks either and decided to do something about it — without Brooks’ blessing. Later in the episode, Seth had lunch with Charlie and pointed out that he was “objectifying” Chloe, 23, even if it wasn’t on purpose.
Seth and Charlie then had a heart-to-heart about Charlie’s dad and later dove into Charlie’s roommate Dylan Geick’s sexuality.
“Dylan’s more active in the sense that he’s bisexual so he’s just, like, everyone can get it. Anyone,” Charlie said of his castmate and roomie, who is a model on OnlyFans. “Is that what being fluid is?” Seth asked.
Charlie responded, “What does he consider himself? Pans? Is that like anyone? That sounds right.” Seth then joked, “That’s what I’m trying to get to. Don’t tell my wife!”
