The ultimate pregame for a brand-new NFL season may just be America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.

On Wednesday, June 3, Netflix released the official trailer for season 2 of their hit reality show that plans to chronicle the 2024-2025 Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders squad from start to finish. “Last year, I was cut. I knew the dream wasn’t over yet,” fan-favorite Kelly V. says in the teaser. (Other returning DCC stars featured in the trailer include Charly, Jada, Reece, Chandi and Armani.)

From the beginning, viewers will get a front-row seat into the competitive audition process that doesn’t always result in a big win.

“You’re like, ‘When we make the team, we’re going to make it together because we’re such good friends,’” one aspiring cheerleader says in the preview. “But then it doesn’t end up like that.”

Another cheerleader added, “We’ve always been told there’s 100 more girls who would love to do this job.”

DCC choreographers Judy Trammell and Charlotte Jones are also expected to return as cameras roll during training camp all the way through the NFL season.

“Everyone’s going to say, ‘Well, they’re just cheerleaders,’” one cast member said in the preview. “But we’re really good cheerleaders.”

They are really good cheerleaders who will do whatever it takes to make the team. One hopeful candidate agreed to let cameras roll as she worked three jobs to make her DCC dreams a reality.

Back in June 2024, America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders premiered on Netflix and followed a group of aspiring rookies and returning veterans as they competed for one of the 36 spots on the squad.
