‘America’s Sweethearts’ Stars Off the Field: What Are the DCC’s Day Jobs?

Being a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader might feel like a full-time job, but for many squad members it’s just one of many they hold down on a daily basis.
During season 2 of America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, fans watched as the professional dancers fought for contract changes to increase their pay for games and appearances. While they successfully secured a “400 percent” pay increase at the end of the 2024-2025 NFL season, most of the women are forced to supplement their income via multiple jobs while working for the organization nights and weekends.
Armani Latimer, for example, is working toward becoming a lawyer. Brooklyn Davis, meanwhile, has a day job with the National Medal of Honor Museum.
DCC choreographer Judy Trammell claimed on season 2 of the Netflix series that the girls having day jobs and still performing week after week is what makes their organization “so impressive.”
What to Know About Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders’ Salaries
She exclusively told Us Weekly on June 18, “I still kind of feel that way,” despite public backlash regarding the cheerleader’s meager pay and the eventual salary increase for the DCC squad.
“We have been so proud of their careers and I get that it’s going in a different direction — influencing — than we’re used to. So if they can make money that way too, then I guess they’re better off for it,” Judy explained. “But I don’t know, it was a new thing for us to hear about and that a lot of them have quit their jobs to become full-time influencers. And I guess we helped them along the way and this has been a good forum for them to progress with that.”
