Ariana Biermann will never let money come between family.

During the Tuesday, June 3, season premiere of Next Gen NYC, the former Don’t Be Tardy star, 23, alleged that Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann “took my money” to help pay for necessary bills and other expenses.

“I can’t say exactly what they used it on because I just found out it was gone two years ago,” she claimed in a confessional interview. “I don’t even know how much money I made over the time period. Nobody was honest. There was no transparency and I have no idea where it went.”

In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, Ariana wanted to end the narrative that she spends her parents’ money when in reality, “that’s obviously not the case.”

“I just continue to build up and make my own money, support myself as being a 23-year-old and just continue to try to take every opportunity I can to build back up everything,” Ariana explained to Us before the season premiere aired. “I think I’m the [most] financially stable I’ve ever been in my life, which is awesome. And my mom’s doing great too. She’s working really hard and has a lot of great things going for her, and my dad’s working too — so everything’s going in the right direction and moving forward.”

That’s not to say it’s been a walk in the park.

As seen on Next Gen NYC, Ariana and her boyfriend, Hudson McLeroy, sometimes disagree over how much money she should be giving her parents.

But the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star said she tried to never let financial matters affect her relationship with Kim, 47, and Kroy, 39, because “money is such a stressful thing for everybody.”

“No matter what, nobody wants to be in the positions that they find themselves in,” she explained to Us. “So no matter what, I tried to keep our relationship outside of the money, which gets a little difficult sometimes. But we’ve definitely mended a lot of things throughout the last couple of years and gotten into a really great place.”

Ariana explained that there was never a point where she wasn’t talking to her mom. As of today, “We’re great, and we’ve always figured out our way throughout it all.”

As for her relationship with Kroy, things have gotten a little bit more complicated ever since Kim filed for divorce in May 2023 after 11 years of marriage. (Kroy formally adopted Ariana and her older sister, Brielle Biermann, in 2013.)

“Growing up, he really was my best friend — more than my mom was for a while,” Ariana reflected. “I would say that I’m trying to still have [a relationship]. We’re definitely not as close as we used to be, and I don’t really talk to him very often just because of this tough situation that we’re in. But I really do try to keep the divorce and my relationship with him and my mom separate. It just gets hard at times.”

With her parents’ divorce ongoing, Ariana remains hopeful that finances and relationships continue to improve.

As she told Us, “I never want money to destroy a relationship with my family ever.”
