Artist Communities Alliance 2025 Conference: A Call for Collective Vision and Fieldwide Participation

Artist Communities Alliance (ACA) is thrilled to host its 2025 conference in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This year’s theme, Building Our Future Together, is a call to action to all who believe in the power of artists and in the people who power the residency field. It is a time to recognize and celebrate all that the field has accomplished in these last 35 years, and to build a way forward, together, for the years ahead.
ACA is seeking proposals from its network and beyond for panel discussions, workshops, and presentations to inform, engage, explore, and uplift a range of topics, including: supporting artists holistically, ecosystem-building, and the use, collection, and management of data.
“In times of uncertainty, it is especially important to gather, to share ideas, experiences, and knowledge,” says Mary-Kim Arnold, ACA’s Chief of Staff. “We hope to receive proposals from across the artist residency field, and encourage new collaborations and formats.”
Conference registration will open May 27, which is also the deadline to submit proposals.
