FUBAR Season 3: Cast, Rumours & Release Date
Season 2 of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s action comedy FUBAR finally landed on Netflix after a two-year wait. So far, the new episodes are drawing in a decent viewership, with the show making it to the streamer’s Top 10 in 21 countries.
However, while FUBAR got about 2.2M views in its first week, that number is considerably lower compared to the 11M it amassed following its 2023 premiere. This could spell trouble, especially for fans already looking forward to more.
FUBAR Season 3 Release Date
At the time of writing, Netflix hasn’t officially renewed FUBAR for additional episodes. The service occasionally waits to see how a show performs before giving the green light, so its silence doesn’t have to mean that the comedy won’t make a comeback.
Unfortunately, the decline in viewership could sway the streaming powers that be to pull the plug, which would be even more of a bummer given that the second season ends on a bit of a cliffhanger.
Still, let’s go with cautious optimism for now, as viewership could still improve in the following weeks. In case that happens and the show gets renewed, FUBAR season 3 would likely arrive sometime in mid-2027.

What Could Happen in FUBAR Season 3?
A fun action comedy, FUBAR marks Arnold Schwarzenegger’s first leading role in a scripted live-action TV series.
He plays Luke, a veteran CIA operative ready to retire. Before he can enjoy the good life, though, he is pulled back into action during one last covert mission. Turns out, the operative he’s supposed to rescue is none other than his estranged daughter, Emma.
In season 2, the stakes are higher, with Luke and Emma facing an enigmatic new adversary. At the same time, Luke reconnects with a former flame, Greta, also an ex-spy. Complications arise throughout, but the season ends with the big bad defeated and the start of a nuclear war successfully averted. Saving the world also prompts Luke to move forward with his retirement.
Whether or not he can actually enjoy some downtime, it remains to be seen. In a final twist, Tina is revealed to be a double agent who is now in need of rescue. If we do get FUBAR season 3, there’s a good chance the plot will follow the team as they attempt to get her back.
