Gracie McGraw Clarifies Sexuality: ‘Out and Proud Queer, Bisexual Woman’
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill‘s daughter Gracie is setting the record straight amid recent reports that she has “come out” as queer.
In an Instagram Story posted late Tuesday, June 3, Gracie, 28, clarified that she has long been an “out and proud queer, bisexual woman” and affirmed her support for the LGBTQIA+ community.
“Let me be VERY clear here….. I’ve been an out and proud queer, bisexual woman and I wouldn’t have it any other way,” Gracie began her post.
“I have and will always be very vocal about my support of LGBTQIA+ rights and the community, but thank you so much to these tabloids for shedding light that it’s pride month!!!” Gracie continued. “So many people out there don’t have the support, love, or understanding from their families when it comes to their sexuality or gender identity, but just know that there is a beautiful community out there that loves you and cares about and for you!!”
“Check on your people and keep safe out there. Give love to each other. GM,” Gracie concluded.
Gracie’s post comes after she shared a celebratory post in honor of Pride Month, which lasts all of June, via her Instagram Story on Monday, June 2. “Everyone get more gay now,” read a post she reshared with her followers. “Happy Freaking Pride,” Gracie wrote alongside the reshared post. “I love being queer.”
It marked the first time Gracie had publicly addressed her sexuality.
Gracie is the eldest daughter of country music legends Tim McGraw, 58, and Hill, 57. In addition to Gracie, the couple, who tied the knot in 1996, also share daughters Maggie, 26, and Audrey, 23.

Earlier this year, Tim took to social media to pay tribute to Gracie in honor of her birthday.
“Can’t believe this little bit turns 28 today! Happy birthday to our Gracie! You are a light in this world my sweet girl,” the Grammy winner wrote via Instagram in May alongside a throwback snap of him and his daughter. “So much heart, soul, respect and yes LOADS of talent!!! We hope you have the best day ever and know that you are loved beyond measure! I love you my little girl.”

Like her parents, Gracie has shown talent for music and acting. Earlier this year, she was cast in The Great War & The Great Gatsby at Carnegie Hall and took the stage in April. Both of her parents were in attendance on opening night.
