Chelsea Fine Art Gallery is pleased to announce Vision & Value, a new exhibition of works by Canadian artist Greg Deda. Hosted at The Twenty Two Hotel, the showcase offers visitors a rare opportunity to experience Deda’s most recent collection—an evocative exploration of artistic vision and the cultural and material worth of fine art.

The evening will bring together collectors, art enthusiasts, and investors alike, uniting those who value the emotional resonance of fine art with its growing prominence as an asset class. Whether a seasoned collector or someone newly engaging with art as investment, guests can expect an atmosphere of elegance, cultural exchange, and exclusivity.

Born in 1965, Greg Deda is an internationally recognised painter and set designer currently based between Toronto and New York. His practice spans magical realism, abstract, and semi-abstract painting, known for evoking layered emotional and psychological responses. Deda’s early training took place at the Scuola dei Beni Culturali (now the University of Salento) in Italy, where he was influenced by Renaissance masters such as Botticelli, Mantegna, and Michelangelo.

In the mid-1990s, Deda continued his studies in Germany during the post-Berlin Wall period, attending Kunst Schule and engaging with leading and emerging artists, including Gerhard Richter and Jörg Immendorff. These experiences continue to inform the distinct visual language that defines his work today.

His exhibitions have appeared in galleries across Europe and North America, including Munich, Düsseldorf, Turin, New York, Toronto, and most recently London. Deda’s compositions—dreamlike, symbol-rich, and atmospherically ambiguous—draw on themes such as shifting societies, Roman mythology, illusion, and architectural form. His abstract series, meanwhile, probe the relationship between nature, architecture, and the subconscious mind.

The Vision & Value exhibition offers a singular evening of artistic immersion and cultural dialogue, set within one of London’s most refined private venues.
