Hailey Bieber’s Blueberry Blush is the Look We Need This Summer

When it comes to makeup, Hailey Bieber knows a thing or two. In 2022, the model and entrepreneur started rhode skin, her own makeup and skincare company called Rhode, so when Bieber says “Blueberry Blush” is going to be the hot trend for summer 2025, we listen.

But what does Blueberry blush actually mean and more importantly, how do you complete the look? We spoke with Electric London ambassador Sarai Martinez, a stylist and makeup artist whose clients range from Willie Geist to Tyson Beckford. She weighed in on what she would use to complete the look, including hydration serum and even an alternative blush to Bieber’s, if her pocket blush just isn’t for you.

“It looks like Hailey Bieber is doing a fresh face look, which would [include] tinted moisturizer, and nice eye wax to brush out her brows,” Martinez tells Us Weekly. “She uses blush to highlight her cheek bones, and finally, uses a tinted lip balm to add a nice plush lip.” Keep reading for a full breakdown on how to get the full glam look.

Skincare For Hailey Bieber’s Incredible Complexion

1. Cleanse: Before putting on any makeup, Martinez reminds us that skincare is key. So to start, it’s crucial to make sure you have a clean slate.

“I would prep the skin with a nice resurfacing cleanser by Dermalogica,” she says.

2. Hydrate: Next, you want to lock in any moisture. Because seriously, has Ms. Bieber ever had dull or sallow skin? Absolutely not.

“You’ll want to moisturize the skin with collagen banking serum by Dermalogica after prepping the skin,” Martinez tells us.

3. Sun-Kissed: Once again, Hailey always has a sun-kissed look… and that’s because she likely goes in with bronzer, or at least tinted moisturizer. Even though Martinez doesn’t recommend one in particular, we like SkinMedica’s SPF 34 formula.

“Now, I would start applying a tinted moisturizer on top of the serum to add a more bronze look,” she explains.

4. Pop of Color: For the actual blush portion of the makeup routine, it’s her own Plum Pocket Blush that Bieber uses for her blueberry blush look, according to Glamour. However, Martinez says you can get a very similar look with Patrick Ta’s Blush Duo. Just brush it evenly across your cheekbones to give them some definition.

5. Sweet Lips: To ensure your lips are looking plush (and to give them a pop of color!), Martinez suggests going in with Spoiled Child Tinted Lip Balm. Hot tip: Make sure you put it in your purse for later, because you won’t know when you need to reapply!

6. How Brows: Finally give your brows some definition. Martinez recommends using brow gel or wax. We like Dime Beauty Eyebrow Enhancing Gel, because it’s totally clear and comes with a brush. That way you can style them as bushy as you’d like (or don’t).
