How Kylie Jenner Helped Timothee Chalamet Get Ready for Red Carpet Debut

Not only did Kylie Jenner handle her own glam before making her red carpet debut with Timothée Chalamet — she helped the actor get ready, too.

Chalamet, 29, wore a double-breasted, black Tom Ford suit with a white flower on his lapel to the 70th David Di Donatello film festival in Rome on Wednesday, May 7.

Before hitting the red carpet, Chalamet FaceTimed with brand creative director Haider Ackermann. In Instagram footage shared via Ackermann several days later, Jenner, 27, was seen using a lint roller on the fabric to make sure it was pristine for the carpet.

“TEAMWORK. Miss K, you’re hired!!” Ackermann wrote via Instagram on Saturday, May 10, tagging Chalamet and Jenner’s respective accounts. “BROTHER elegantly in TOM FORD receiving the 70th David Di Donatello Award. PROUD AS ALWAYS.”

Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner Make Red Carpet Debut

Chalamet walked the red carpet on Wednesday with Jenner, who stunned in a fitted black Schiaparelli gown.

“Rome in @schiaparelli @danielroseberry,” she wrote via Instagram earlier this week. “Makeup by meee .”

Arriving in Italy without her usual glam squad, the Kardashians star wore her hair in a sleek updo with dewy, rose-colored makeup.

Jenner has been dating Chalamet since spring 2023, making one of their first appearances together as a couple at Ackermann’s New York Fashion Week dinner that year. As their romance has continued heating up, Jenner joined the A Complete Unknown star at many 2025 award shows in support of his many nominations and accolades.

“Timothée is very focused on his career and Kylie loves being on the sidelines cheering him on,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly in January. “She loves that she’s in the spotlight more than her. It’s been a breath of fresh air.”

According to the insider, Jenner’s entire famous family has “welcomed Timothée with open arms” and the Oscar nominee already met Jenner’s children. (The Kylie Cosmetics mogul shares daughter Stormi, 7, and son Aire, 3, with ex Travis Scott.)

“They love him,” the source added at the time, noting that Jenner and Chalamet aren’t in a rush to take the next step in their romance. “This is a very different relationship dynamic than what Kylie is used to. [It’s] opened her eyes to the more artistic side of the industry.”
