In a video shared by TMZ on Tuesday, June 10, the NFL star gushed about Steinfeld, 28, during a recent press conference in New York City.

When asked to reflect on the recent months of his life, Allen, 29, said his achievements have “all been big,” before singling out his recent wedding. “None other than marrying my best friend,” he said. “She makes everything easier. I don’t really focus on the other stuff, that was the most important decision I’ll make in my life, and I made the right one.”

One month later, Allen shared in Steinfeld’s “Beau Society” newsletter that he was “nervous” about his proposal plans being exposed.

“It was hard to keep secrets from you and have other people in your life keep secrets from you,” he admitted. “Then, multiple times throughout the day a song would come on and I would tear up thinking about how special our day was going to be.”

The lovebirds made their red carpet debut at the 2025 NFL Honors ceremony in February, where Allen was named MVP. When the award was announced, the athlete praised Steinfeld during his acceptance speech, calling her his “rock” and “best friend.”
