Kim Kardashian Reveals What North West Thought Of Her 2025 Met Gala Look

Kim Kardashian always values her daughter’s opinion.

Kardashian, 44, opened up to Vogue’s red carpet livestream host Emma Chamberlain about North West’s fashion opinions at the 2025 Met Gala, which was held on Monday, May 5, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

“Every time I come to the Met, I love bringing my oldest daughter with me,” Kardashian, who shares North, 11, with ex Kanye West, said, noting she had a “chill day” getting ready.

“Just to see me get ready, and all her aunties are in the hotel, and we’re all getting ready together, so it’s just a fun few days.”

Chamberlain then asked the reality star what the “greatest lesson” North has taught her about the fashion industry.

“She’s a big critic, but it’s pretty good, you know, her critiquing,” Kardashian explained. “She’s also in a really positive place right now, where it’s just like, ‘Hey, even if that’s not my style, I’m not going to critique that because just be you, and if you like that, then that’s what you should be into.’”

Kardashian added: “I love that energy, and so she was such a positive force tonight; it was great.”

While North is taking it easier on her mom now, she roasted her 2023 Met Gala look during a season 4 episode of The Kardashians.

At the time, Kardashian opted for a pearl Schiaparelli design, which North was not a massive fan of.

Kardashian then told North that the pearls were “very expensive” and asked her little one to go “easy on [her].”

North then told her mom she won’t lie about her honest opinion. “I’m not going to lie. I won’t say it all if you don’t want me to, but I won’t lie.”
