Lauren Bushnell Is Pregnant, Expecting Baby No. 3 With Chris Lane

Bachelor Nation’s Lauren Bushnell Lane is pregnant with her and husband Chris Lane’s third baby.

“Party of 5 coming this November! ,” the couple wrote via Instagram on Thursday, May 29.

The pair shared the happy news alongside a video with their two sons, Dutton, 3, and Baker, 2. In the video, Bushnell Lane, 35, showed off her growing baby bump at the beach.

Prior to this pregnancy, the former Bachelor contestant teased her desire to have another kid while gushing about her husband’s haircut. “This haircut makes me want baby #3 @iamchrislane,” Bushnell Lane wrote via her Instagram Story in February 2023 alongside a photo of the country singer showing off his new ‘do.

The duo — who tied the knot in November 2019 — have settled into parenthood nicely after welcoming their first son Dutton in June 2021. One month after giving birth, Bushnell Lane opened up about the hardships she faced while breast-feeding a newborn.

“Part of me didn’t want to share this photo because it really isn’t a realistic representation of what breast-feeding has been like for me,” the reality star wrote via Instagram at the time. “It’s been hard and honestly painful at times and quite the opposite of glamorous.”

In March 2022, Bushnell Lane revealed that she isn’t bothered by body-shaming comments after giving birth to Dutton.

“I hate to say that I’m used to it, but I kind of am,” she told Us Weekly at the time. “I feel like I developed a pretty thick skin … so it doesn’t really bother me a whole lot, but it definitely stings more when [comments are made about] my child. I’ve noticed that anyone can say anything about me, and it doesn’t really bother me too much.”

Nearly a year after Dutton’s birth, the twosome shared that they were expecting baby No. 2. They welcomed son Baker in October 2022.

In February 2023, the country singer and Bushnell Lane shared with Us how they were adjusting to life as parents of two kids under two.

“It’s all chaotic,” Bushnell Lane explained. “But fun. It’s definitely one of those things where I’m sure one day we’ll look back and it’ll be too quiet in our house. So I’m trying not to take it for granted or wish away time, but it can be a little stressful at times.”

Bushnell Lane also spoke about how well Dutton and Baker get along with each other.

“I thought [Dutton] being so young, it would make our lives easier. I was like, ‘Oh, maybe he won’t experience the jealousy as much because he’s so young,’ but actually there definitely was a period of time where he was very just out of sorts and a little bit jealous,” she explained to Us at the time.

She added: “Now that Baker is able to not be so attached to me all the time, he loves Baker. … I think Baker [is] now more interactive. He smiles, he laughs, he, like, stares at Dutton all day long and is just so intrigued by whatever Dutton is doing and I think Dutton now is enjoying that more.”
