Filming the Summer House season 9 reunion wasn’t too dramatic — at least not for Lindsay Hubbard.

“I think we hit every emotion at the reunion. I think that there are a lot of things that you might expect to happen, but things are unexpected as an outcome,” Lindsay, 38, teased to Us Weekly exclusively while promoting her partnership with Air Wick. “I don’t know about everyone else, but I had a great time, just like I had a great summer.”

While she did tease that Jesse Solomon and newcomer Lexi Wood’s romance is spoken about “a lot at the reunion,” Lindsay said her vibe was “living my own little life” while the reunion was filming. (Costar Paige DeSorbo cosigned her statement, saying the cast “had a good time” during her Amazon Live on Thursday, April 30.)

“I feel like it was for the first time in a while I wasn’t really directly in the hot seat,” she explained. “It felt nice to be — it was like a choose your own adventure reunion for me.”

Lindsay Hubbard Defends Filming New ‘Summer House’ Season While Pregnant

Lindsay had a pretty low-key Summer House season as she was pregnant with daughter Gemma, whom she welcomed in December 2024 with boyfriend Turner Kufe. (Who Lindsay told Us has only seen “a couple of episodes” of the show.)

“I just had so much on the horizon. I had a lot to think about,” she told Us about staying out of the season 9 drama. “I joke around all the time. My belly was growing each week. I would show up to the house a little bit bigger. My shirts became more cropped as the summer went on. It was just such a clear representation of my present and my future.”

Not to mention, Lindsay admitted that her pregnancy made it “a lot easier to put the past in the past” — like her former engagement to fellow Summer House star Carl Radke.

As for the future, Lindsay is still trying to figure out what’s in store.

How Summer House’s Lindsay Will Use Past Lessons to Raise Her Daughter

“I think about this all the time. I’ve been thinking about it since, literally, before I was pregnant,” Lindsay said. “I think that’s just the businesswoman in me, trying to understand and financial plan for my future. Then, I went and got pregnant, and everything became a question mark. It’s still a question mark, but I will say, I’m excited.”

Some things might still be up in the air for Lindsay but one thing’s for sure, she’s still slaying the hosting game — even as a working mom. The Bravo star teamed up with Air Wick to create a series of vision boards for the spring, which coincide with Lindsay’s favorite scents: Lavender & Chamomile, Fresh Linen and Deep Blue Sea & Beach Wood.

Even though she’s a new mom, Lindsay told Us that she’s still “always” entertaining.

“I always have the apartment that all the girls are coming to. Now that I’m a new mom, I can’t really leave my apartment — especially at night,” she explained. “They’re like, ‘Do you wanna go to dinner?’ I’m like, ‘I have a baby who’s sleeping in a crib right now.’ You can come over.”

Despite this new phase in her life, Lindsay did make it clear that her apartment “smells divine” because of these scents.

“It could smell worse for sure,” she joked. “We gotta mask the dirty diapers pail.”
