Powerful Photos from the Wellcome Photography Prize 2025 That Challenge How We See the World

The Wellcome Photography Prize 2025 showcases powerful images that challenge our perceptions of health, science, and the human experience.
Sourced from a global mix of professional photographers, scientists, and clinicians, the collection offers thought-provoking perspectives on issues like mental health, infectious diseases, and climate change. An esteemed panel of judges selected the finalists for their creativity and storytelling depth across three categories: solo photography, photo series, and scientific imaging. Each of the 25 entrants will receive £1,000, with three category winners earning £10,000 at a special awards ceremony on July 16. These extraordinary works will be displayed in a public exhibition at the Manby Gallery in London’s Francis Crick Institute from July 17 to October 18, 2025.
