In shocking developments, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, previously known as Prince Andrew, has been featured in newly released photographs obtained from the estate of the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The U.S. Justice Department revealed on January 30 that they have uncovered 100 new photographs, among which three depict Mountbatten-Windsor with an unidentified woman, whose face has been obscured.
In the images, Mountbatten-Windsor appears to be in close proximity to the woman, touching her waist and stomach in two separate photographs. A third image reportedly shows him on all fours, gazing directly into the camera. The circumstances surrounding these photographs remain unclear, with no specific details provided by the Justice Department regarding when or where they were taken.

In light of these revelations, Us Weekly has reached out to Buckingham Palace for a statement. Mountbatten-Windsor has consistently denied any wrongdoing associated with Epstein, who was found dead in August 2019 following his arrest on federal sex trafficking charges.
Adding further context to the ongoing saga, the Justice Department also released emails between Epstein and a contact known as “The Duke,” widely believed to refer to Mountbatten-Windsor. These emails, dated August 2010, were exchanged two years after Epstein had pleaded guilty to charges related to prostitution.

In the correspondence, Epstein proposed introducing “The Duke” to a 26-year-old Russian woman, to which Mountbatten-Windsor expressed interest despite being in Geneva at the time. In a series of exchanges, Epstein described the woman as “clever, beautiful, trustworthy,” and included a request for Mountbatten-Windsor to reach out to her.
Additionally, in emails from September 2010, Epstein sought to arrange a meeting with Mountbatten-Windsor during his visit to London, suggesting intimate encounters either through private arrangements or over dinner at Buckingham Palace.
Mountbatten-Windsor has publicly addressed his ties to Epstein, stating in a 2019 interview that he distanced himself from Epstein following a final visit to the financier’s New York residence in December 2010. He asserted that he did not regret his previous associations, claiming that they provided him with valuable opportunities.
Further compounding the controversy, in October 2025, Mountbatten-Windsor announced his decision to relinquish his royal titles amid mounting scrutiny over his connections with Epstein. He cited the ongoing allegations as a distraction from the work of the Royal Family, emphasizing his commitment to his family and country. Following this declaration, Buckingham Palace confirmed that King Charles III would formally strip him of his royal titles, renaming him as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. Consequently, he is set to vacate Royal Lodge, where he had resided under a historic lease.
Despite the ongoing legal and public relations turmoil, Mountbatten-Windsor maintains his innocence regarding the allegations against him, as he prepares for a transition to new private accommodations in early 2026.
