Purple Flight

When I created my painting “Purple Flight”, I wanted to capture the essence of resilience. This piece represents the indomitable spirit of healthcare workers who sacrificed a lot during these past few years with the pandemic. In the midst of uncertainty, fear and anxiety, we pressed on and made it to the other side. “Purple Flight” symbolizes the story of never giving up and rising over and over again despite the hurdles we faced. The multiple colors meshing together, some bright, some dark, represent the myriad of memories that collectively led to greater inner strength and self-resolve for facing future challenges.
