This Artist Can Turn Virtually Any Object into a Real-Life 3D Sketch

Joshua Vides has transformed countless items—from shoes to wedding chapels—into stunning black-and-white sketches.
He started with a pair of Nike Air Force 1 sneakers, which he painted using his Reality to Idea (RTI) technique after being inspired by the original designer’s sketch. This success quickly went viral, and he soon expanded to larger projects, including turning a 1992 Acura NSX into a 3D sketch, earning him collaborations with brands like BMW and Ferrari. Vides later applied his signature style to entire spaces, making them appear as though they were part of a living sketch, even creating a sketched wedding chapel. Over the years, his unique artistic approach has caught the attention of major brands across industries like fashion, automotive, and spirits.
