When most people think of WWE stars, they picture tough talk, big entrances, and brutal takedowns — not hair transplants. But John Cena just revealed that fans pushed him into getting one.

“You chant and you make me feel small and you embarrass me,” the 47-year-old wrestling pro told the WWE World crowd during his appearance on The Pat McAfee Show Monday, April 21. “Y’all don’t know what that’s like. That is straight-up bullying. That’s just not cool. I don’t like it.”

Cena continued, “So, thank you for bullying me into getting surgical hair replacement, like that’s how far y’all pushed me — I appreciate that.”

The Trainwreck actor then quipped, “But yo, it’s coming in!” before high-fiving host Pat McAfee and joking, “Come on, fuzzies!”

After the episode aired, it didn’t take long for viewers to weigh in.

“Not the surgical hair 🤣🤣🤣 Cena is so legendary,” one person wrote on YouTube.

“Thank you John Cena for finally being a WWE GOAT and being straight and open about your hair,” another said. “It was pretty cool to hear a man who obviously has the money got it fixed and didn’t just do the bald look like The Rock.”

“John Cena joking about his hair plugs/transplant is a version of him that is sorely missed,” someone else pointed out. “Ever since he found success in Hollywood, he’s gotten so serious in interviews.”

“The thing about the hair seemed to be his genuine feelings. Damn,” another noted.

While talking with McAfee, 37, Cena added that he “just saw so many bald spot signs,” and then turned to the crowd to thank them “for being so aware of my needs and emotions, ’cause you guys ripped me to shreds for a genetic problem that I can’t control.”

The comments came just one day after Cena made WWE history at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas, where he won his record-breaking 17th World Championship by defeating Cody Rhodes.
