Tires Season 3: Cast, Rumours & Release Date

Tires

The second season of Netflix comedy Tires is out, and it’s proving to be quite the crowd-pleaser. The show amassed almost 3 million views this week and made it to the streamer’s Top 10 in six countries.

While critic reviews may be middling, the sitcom has the old-school appeal that keeps you watching, with the Rotten Tomatoes Audience Score for season 2 currently at 92%. Additionally, if you like Shane Gillis, you’re probably already eager for more. Whether or not that happens, though, it remains to be seen.

Tires Season 3 Release Date

At the time of writing, Tires hasn’t yet been renewed for additional episodes. That said, its chances look good. Viewership is steady, the cost of production is likely low, and the second season has jumped in quality.

As long as Netflix gives the green light, Tires season 3 would probably arrive sometime in mid-2026. Fans only got a one-year hiatus between the first two seasons, so we don’t see why another one would take longer to bring to the screen.

Tires Cast

  • Shane Gillis as Shane
  • Steve Gerben as Will
  • Chris O’Connor as Cal
  • Kilah Fox as Kilah
  • Stavros Halkias as Dave
  • Thomas Haden Church as Phil

What Could Happen in Tires Season 3?

Tires is a raunchy workplace comedy following the misadventures of a crew trying to keep an auto shop afloat.

The story revolves around Will, a hapless manager with good intentions. His efforts to bring the shop to the next level and hopefully impress his absentee father are constantly derailed by his cousin Shane, a mechanic who can’t help but lean into politically incorrect humor and immature antics.

In season 2, the crew rejoices at the recent success of the shop. Even so, they quickly realise that doing business comes at a steep cost. Shane’s father Phil shows up to help his son, and maybe even rekindle their relationship. By the end of the 12 episodes, the gang find themselves on the verge of financial ruin, but also more motivated to forge through.

Tires Season 3 will probably continue to focus on their dynamic and follow their efforts to keep the shop open.

Are There Other Shows Like Tires?

If you’re into Tires, you probably appreciate workplace comedy in general. Some of the best include The Office, Parks and Recreation, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Scrubs, Abbott Elementary, Superstore, and Silicon Valley.

For more raunchy humour, you can’t go wrong with It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
