Tori Spelling is going to need a drink — or two — after realizing just how old her kids are getting.

During the Monday, April 28, episode of her iHeartRadio “misSPELLING” podcast, Spelling, 51, shared highlights from a recent family trip to the Bahamas, where she revealed her 18-year-old son Liam McDermott was able to try something new.

“It was interesting because the legal drinking age there is 18, so he could legally have his first drink,” Spelling recalled. “He was like, ‘Are you OK if I try something?’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, of course. You’re in the Bahamas. It’s legal, you’re 18.’”

Liam ultimately decided to get a Piña Colada and delivered a unique reaction to the whole experience in front of his mom.

“He was like, ‘This is so weird mom. I’m able to drink here,’” Spelling recalled. “They can gamble [too], which we didn’t do. But it’s interesting because legally, they can’t drive there till they’re 18, but they can drink and gamble at 18, and here [in the United States,] we can’t drink or gamble till we’re 21, but you can drive at 16.”

In addition to Liam, Spelling also shares Stella, 16, Hattie, 13, Finn, 12, and Beau, 8, with ex-husband Dean McDermott. While McDermott, 58, wasn’t part of this trip, the family unit was able to create many lasting memories.

“Hattie went in the ocean a lot. She loved seeing all the fishes,” Spelling shared. “Finn did the water park [at Atlantis]. We did have a cabana and I took photos.”

While the Beverly Hills, 90210 actress was on her phone to document some vacation memories, Spelling said she tried her best to stay away from any devices. She also got some support from a butler on the island.

“One day, the butler at the cabana was like, ‘Guys, you have to get off your devices and tablets and phones and go out and do stuff,’” Spelling recalled. “She’s like, ‘When your mom and I were young, we didn’t have that stuff. I grew up here on the island and there was nothing.’”

According to Spelling, the butler had only one TV channel in her house that was available to watch for three hours between 5 and 8 p.m.

When the worker was able to sit in front of the TV, she would watch Spelling.

“She said, ‘I would always watch 90210. I love you a lot but my favorite was Punky Brewster.’”

As a token of her appreciation, Spelling briefly connected the butler to actress Soleil Moon Frye.

“She was super excited,” Spelling said before acknowledging just how unique the Bahamas is. “It was just so interesting that it’s so different for us.”
